| Objectives of the Course: | To learn theory of AC machinery fundamentals, machine parts and to obtain practical skills for operating AC machines. |
| Course Description: | Electromagnetic fields created by AC electric machine windings: pulsating and rotating magnetic fields, emf induced in a winding. Induction machines: equivalent circuit, steady-state analysis, speed control. Synchronous machines: equivalent circuit, steady-state analysis, stability. Single-phase induction machines. Special electrical machines.
