| Objectives of the Course: | Information about the importance of the environmental impact assessment activities and procedures to protect the environment against the human activities. Information about the administrative and technical methods and principles to take into account during the environmental impact assessment process. Information about the preparing the environmental impact assessment report. |
| Course Description: | Environment is manageable. The course will cover the state-of-art techniques and methods of contemporary environmental planning and management such as environmental standards, ISO 14000 series of "International Environmental Management Standards", environmental auditing, economic tools of environmental management, marketable pollution quotas, green taxes, waste markets, national/local agenda 21s, environmental impact assessment, environmental institutions at home and abroad, Turkish environmental law and so many others |
